Parmigiani watch up for auction

stuff_christieswatch

This is a Parmagiani, designed to resemble a Bugatti Veyron’s engine. Want one? The good news is that it’s for sale. The bad news is that only 100 were made (10 in this blue colour scheme). That’s why auctioneer Christie’s is expecting to fetch north of US$80,000 when it goes under the hammer at Emirates Towers on April 28. The watch sale also includes a US$40,000+ platinum Girard-Perregaux, a perpetual calendar with a part that only moves every four years and a US$120,000+ cabaret tourbillon from A Lange & Sohne. What financial crisis?
